The museum built to keep America's story just got named for rewriting it, and the man under the Acropolis is done apologizing for the West.

Jeff (@intheMatrixxx) and Shannon (@shadygrooove) open The Smithsonian Cover-Up: How the Left Is Erasing History While Rubio Defends Western Civilization. On July 4 the White House Domestic Policy Council released Saving America's Story, a 162-page report that says Smithsonian leadership turned the National Museum of American History away from education and toward extreme political activism rooted in Marxism. The report says the museum cannot be trusted to tell America's story honestly, that it is not stewarding more than a billion taxpayer dollars a year, and that the Founders were minimized while the 250th year is supposed to honor them. On July 24 President Trump signed the order to restore trust, directing Interior to post the findings outside the museum and correct the record so the Founders are honored in public, not buried in a rewrite.

While that cover-up sits in the marble, Secretary of State Marco Rubio stood Wednesday at the Pnyx, the hillside under the Acropolis, and told the West it is at a crossroads. He said America opened its borders, outsourced its industry, and let its militaries wither, and that this country has no interest in being the polite caretaker of managed decline. In his Fox News piece he wrote that we are many nations but one civilization, born in Athens, forged in Rome, baptized in Christendom, and that the story is the greatest ever known to man, but we must fight to defend it. Jeff flagged the earlier Germany ovation, when Rubio called for a return toward Christianity and against Third World migration and the room stood up. That speech and the Athens address are the same fight, not the same room.
